Directory of SSI in AP & Survey of SSI Needs

Information is becoming more and more critical for smooth and growing across the world. Today information and better usage of information technologies cab help decision-makers, business establishments, small-scale industries and government in furthering their business activities. The need today is much more than just a mailing address. A directory of AP-SSI Directory is an attempt in this direction.

As on date, the database available on SSI's is based on registration and hence it is not the updated information. Further, there lies a need for information on technological products / services, import & export markets and the vital statistics, turnover, employees, standards and a range of information to understand on SSI operations. Information provided in the directory would enable the user to identify specific sectors of SSI & products and would be of enormous value to companies APTDC a global level. Since SSI is the backbone for national economy and there is no such directory, which exists on Small Scale Industry at present, this would be a pioneering effort in AP.

The directory will be prepared through physical verification and discussions with CEO of each SSI units. This will enable to understand their technology needs too. APTDC will attend these technology needs through a panel of experts in Technology Clinics.
