Promotion of Technologies Leading to Societal
Benifits
APTDC understands that for the sustainable development, technology
has to play a key role in development of society. Though most of
the technology projects supported by APTDC ultimately play an important
role for the development of the society, APTDC has taken the lead
to promote projects through direct or indirect Government intervention,
for the benefit of the society as a whole.
APTDC Technology Promotion projects encompass the solutions to
the Waste Disposal problems (a separate sheet enclosed for more
information) in the urban India on one hand, while on the other,
it offers the best utilisation of the resources available at the
rural level - may it be bio-mass or value added products from Bamboo.
APTDC is constantly looking out for Technologies for Social Benefits,
to work on newer models of industry - society linkage for sustainable
development.
APTDC provides "Concept-to-Commissioning" support either
to Govt. agencies or to private promoter for executing such projects.
